Children play a big part of family life and Youth Development shores up this element by providing programming for youth helping them find their role within their current family and in the family they will one day lead themselves. The goal here is not to only provide exciting and meaningful programming for youth, but to intentionally reach out to their families and include them in the process!
Currently the Youth Development branch of FamilyWorks offers a comprehensive program for boys ages 10-18 years called The Lions of Judah(LOJ). This group is a registered member of Oregon Mentors which is an organization that helps facilitate mentoring programs in Oregon. This association ensures that LOJ receives exceptional guidance. The Lions of Judah has a web page on this site dedicated to providing more information about its goals and objectives.
