Currently, Board Member Fidel Gonon and ESL volunteer has been working hard to establish a soccer program and received permission to begin running a “Pilot Status” version on selected Saturdays and Fridays per month. We have been renting a synthetic field out in Delta Park and ask those who participate for a $5.00 contribution to help sustain the costs of renting the field.
We’re are excited to be providing this service because it is helping FWM reach out to many Spanish speaking members of our community and it is an opportunity to encourage English speaking soccer fans to come out and build closer ties with each other!
